The production process of acid washed coconut shell activated carbon is roughly divided into: raw material screening, carbonization, steam activation, crushing and particle size screening, acid wash, drying and packaging.
Our advanced acid washing process significantly enhances the quality of acid washed coconut shell activated carbon. By reducing internal ash content and surface floating ash, our acid washed activated carbon achieves a cleaner composition with lower metal content. This process also increases the effective ingredient content and adjusts the pH value from 9–11 to a more neutral 7–9, ensuring the product meets the stringent requirements of water treatment and other specialized applications.
