YICARB Coal Based Acid Washed Briquetted Activated Carbon is made from the finest grades of bituminous coal and then is acid washed. The PH value of activated carbon is acidic, while Coal Based Acid Washed Briquetted Activated Carbon still has developed pores, large specific surface area, fast adsorption speed, strong adsorption capacity, high mechanical strength, long use time and so on. The superior adsorptive capacity and low level of impurities of Coal Based Acid Washed Briquetted Activated Carbon make it cleaner than other carbons and gives it longer life expectancy.
Coal based acid washed activated carbon is specifically designed for the purification and decolorization of water and organic solutions that require low ash content and low solubility. It provides optimal adsorption capacity for many colored organic impurities. Applied for impurity removal and decolorization refining of various sugars and oils. Starch sugar, beet sugar, glucose. The main substances removed are compounds in syrup such as caramel, black like crystals, iron containing polyphenol complexes, colloids, etc. At the same time, it has been widely used in natural decolorization and synthesis of saccharin, decolorization of food amino acids and additives, high-purity chemical and pharmaceutical production, and purification of inorganic and organic acids. After adding MgO, it is used for decolorization of sucrose.
